I know it's a little late to be talking about the Juggernaut Killstreaks since Advanced Warfare will be coming out in November and there have probably been many threads on this that I can't find, or that people just don't care about Juggs in general (I know people in MW3 didn't), but I don't care, I just wanted to come out and say for myself that the Original Juggs (Assault with Minigun and Support, not Maniac) are completely WORTHLESS!!!
I thought that Juggs in MW3 were bad enough, since there were so many easy ways to kill them, such as concussion grenades, FMG9 Akimbos, Smaw or RPGs, Predator Missiles, and even just simple team swarming (to me against a Jugg it can mean only 2 people), but Juggs in this game are even worse. In MW3, at least there was a possibility of getting a good amount of kills, but Ghost Juggs can't even seem to get 5 against half-way competent players. I understand that you can't just run out into the middle of the map and expect to survive, but even when playing defensively you can still die extremely quickly. MW3 at least attempted to make Juggs somewhat of a good killstreak (Assault anyways, Support was perfect).
The worst idea was to completely rid Juggs of any sort of Health Regeneration. This makes them so pathetic since EVERYONE knows where they are. Why the hell would you take out Health Regeneration when you are LITERALLY a giant target on the minimap? AP rounds also did not make things better, only making Juggs die in about (I'm just guessing) half the time as normal rounds. I understand that Ghosts tried to make the game more of a fair gunfight rather than a slaughter with killstreaks (MW3), but c'mon, Juggs didn't need THAT bad of a nerf.
Since the Juggernaut killstreak does count as a death when it gets destroyed, it should at least get close to around the same amount of kills to get it. No more "5 kills then dead" type ****. Why even go for the Jugg if you can get a high killstreak? You might as well try going for a Loki (even though it's still not much better except the AI controlled Juggs are pretty damn good) or even a KEM Strike. The Jugg should at least have some health regeneration.
My proposal would be that they get back health regeneration but their health regeneration should only regen back up to 50% of their max health, that way they aren't as "powerful" as they were in MW3. With this, Juggs should also not be shown on the minimap since a death with a Jugg is a death for the player, ending his killstreak (which no other killstreak does that; they're basically free kills whereas the Jugg is not). However, to prevent Jugg camping and since it does still count as a killstreak, when enemies get close to the Jugg, the Jugg sort of sends out a "ping" type thing that shows it on the minimap, sort of like a Satcom or Portable Radar. Basically it's like everyone has an implemented Portable Radar but it only works on Juggs.
I'm sorry if I don't sound as professional as many of you would rather have me be or if this post is pretty long, but I just wanted to give out my opinion on the subject.
