First off I'm painfully aware that nearly everything in this forum is negative, and that Onslaught started-off on a rocky road but the problems are now fixed so lets move on. Further, yeah I can read, everyone (here) is like don't buy any DLC for Ghosts yakety yak some more. Everyone is entitled to their opinions so here's mine, Onslaught is good.
Fortunately, I and many of us playing the new Onslaught maps and the Maverick like them, so it's just not my opinion alone. The maps flow rather well, they're interesting and seem to be good for most game types. The Maverick AR is also pretty good (good iron sights, controllable recoil and good kill times) but the Maverick Sniper ehh lets just say sniping isn't my thing.
Most importantly, we all played a good 4-6 hours and only ran across one (1) obvious hacker and a tiny few fishy players at most. Then in all my brilliance I decided to play the standard maps for a game or two on my own with my Maverick and OMG the hackers (zero doubt AimBottter's) in the lobby I ran into just in my first frickin game! Night and day difference.
So sure stay in your standard core maps, gripe all day, get bored even more than you already are and have fun with those that got Ghosts for $30 USD and don't care if they get banned by the end of day.
Damn straight the DLC is worth it!
